Sunday
Our regular Sunday service is at 9.30 am.
We use ‘A New Zealand Prayer Book / He Karakia Mihinare O Aotearoa’ for our Eucharistic service.
We rotate three different services from the New Zealand Prayer Book, and every 4th week we use our own approved St Francis liturgy which was created by Reverend David Crawley and the late Reverend Lindsay Nash.
The 5th Sunday of the month is a non-eucharistic Morning Prayer service.
The Eucharist – also known as Communion is the sacrament of thanksgiving. It is the ‘family meal’ of the Church – the bread which we break is for the body of Christ, and likewise the wine is for the blood of Christ.
After the service, we spend time together chatting over morning tea.
As well as Christmas and Easter services, we hold several special services throughout the year; including Midwinter, Harvest Festival, and Blessing of the Pets. See our photos.
