Most of you will be aware that Pam Dowd has stepped down from Vestry and MST. We are sorry she has decided to step down and we acknowledge the years of service she has given to our church and community.
Earlier this year our very longstanding Treasurer Ian Mackley retired from the role. Huge thanks to Ian for all his hard work over the years.
We have appreciated Graeme Moore stepping in as Treasurer, however, Graeme has now decided not to continue in the role. We are grateful for his contribution and the efforts he has made to manage the handover from Ian at a time of some change in the ways finances are handled by the Diocese.
We have been very fortunate to have Kathy Hohepa from St Andrews in Glen Eden managing our tax and GST and using the Xero system that the Diocese now requires. She produces very tidy and readable reports from Xero and we can rest assured that the necessary compliance processes are being met.
As we plan for the season ahead, our Vestry is seeking the right people to step into two vital servant-leadership roles: Parish Treasurer and Parish Administrator.
Please join our Vestry and MST in praying for God’s guidance and provision. Pray that those with the right gifts will feel called to step forward. If you might be interested, please speak to our Church Warden and Vestry Chair – Susan Crozier.
